SAVING THE ENVIRONMENT,
ONE PLANTED TREE AT A TIME.

How would you like to make a difference?

One Project C.A.R.E, or Conservation of Air and Restoration of Environment, is a brand, a product, a cause, a campaign, an advocacy and a movement for the environment one conscious step at a time. As one of the leading hygiene companies in the Philippines, Hospeco Philippines Inc., chooses to take one step forward to take part in this advocacy by promoting the use of 100% recycled tissue paper. It is One Project CARE’s mission to promote awareness and consumer consciousness about the detriments of illegal logging, carbon emission, landfill and other manmade pollutants that are causing heightened air toxicity and environmental degradation.

POST-CONSUMER TISSUE PAPER

These Tissue Products are 100% Recycled Post-Consumer Materials. Post-Consumer Materials are typically papers which were ones newspapers, magazines, memo, instruction manual, etc. There were 0 trees cut down to produce our tissue paper. And, this creates significantly smaller environmental footprints than the virgin pulp.

“Planting trees is just one way of giving back to the environment. One Project CARE, together with the Forest Foundation Philippines, aims to plant at least 600 seedlings every year,” said Mr. Richie Laguda, the Chief CARE Advocate of One Project CARE.

Currently, the objective is focused to protect and serve Sierra Madre, and restore forests in Rizal and Quirino. In 2024, One Project CARE will be inviting its CARE partners to its annual tree-planting activity.

Extending a warm invitation in the final quarter of 2024 as ONE PROJECT CARE invites all CARE PARTNERS to come together for our ANNUAL TREE-PLANTING EVENT in our majestic Sierra Madre. Aiming to restore trees to forests heavily impacted by deforestation. Joining hand in hand with our hardworking farmers and caretakers, we can cultivate a greener future, and nourish the forests that sustain us all.

For every box of Hand Roll Tissue sold, 25 pesos goes to our partnership with Forest Foundation Philippines in our pursuit to plant as many seedlings in the predetermined mountains and sites.

ONE PROJECT CARE’S PARTNERS

One of the Philippine’s most crucial defense against tropical cyclones: Sierra Madre

In the face of mounting environmental challenges, the Sierra Madre Mountain Range stands as a sentinel, its lush forests and rugged terrain offering a crucial line of defense against the ravages of tropical cyclones and typhoons in the Philippines.

But in recent years, this natural fortress has come under siege. Illicit logging, mining activities, and other destructive practices have taken their toll, threatening the very integrity of the Sierra Madre. Despite efforts at reforestation, the relentless depletion of its forests persists, casting a shadow of uncertainty over its future. Amidst this backdrop, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) stepped in, forced to intervene in November 2020 after Typhoon Ulysses wreaked havoc across Metro Manila, inundating parts of the city. It was a stark reminder of the urgent need for collective action to protect our natural heritage.

Despite regulatory measures, private exploitation continues, exacerbating the risk of catastrophic consequences such as flooding and landslides. The Sierra Madre, once a bastion of resilience, now teeters on the brink of decline, its fate hanging in the balance.

But there's hope. Communities, individuals, and organizations are coming together to protect the Sierra Madre for future generations. Let's unite in our efforts to preserve this vital ecosystem, ensuring its legacy of resilience and stewardship endures. BE A CARE PARTNER NOW.
